1900s Silk Jacquard & Embroidered Tulle Wedding Dress "NOS"
1900s Silk Jacquard & Embroidered Tulle Wedding Dress "NOS"
This lovely two-piece Edwardian wedding dress, dating to the early 1900s, is crafted from lightweight silk jacquard habotai woven with a delicate wheat-ear motif. The bodice is lined in fine, long-staple cotton. Remarkably, the gown has never been worn and remains partially unfinished in its original construction.
The high collar is crafted from delicate embroidered silk tulle and accented with a brocade-weft trim. Soft gigot sleeves are finished with matching trim, while the pleated, floor-length skirt remains unlined and unhemmed, with the original intended hem and trim included.
The bodice back is beautifully detailed with fine pin-tucks and an original hook-and-eye closure. We are happy to complete the gown with an era-appropriate lining and finish the skirt with trim provided. The original hook-and-eye closure may be preserved or replaced with a custom corset insert, a zipper or choose from our many button loop closure options to accent the back of this beautiful "New Old Stock" 1900s bridal gown.
This timeless piece has been meticulously restored through our Immersion Restoration Process and is fully customizable and ready to be reimagined into your vision of perfection. Read "About Our Gowns" to learn more on our alteration and back closure options and let us weave this beauty into the wedding dress of your dreams.
