1940's Parachute Wedding Dress W/Bluework Embroidered Daisies

1940's Parachute Wedding Dress W/Bluework Embroidered Daisies

This lovely 1940s wedding dress is made from sheer parachute fabric, these parachute gowns inspired brides during and after World War II, where they became a powerful symbol of hope and resilience. Crafted from delicate nylon fabric, the ruched semi-sweetheart bodice has little hand embroidered stars along the collar and boasts large 3/4-length puff sleeves. The A-line fitted skirt is adorned with delicate bluework embroidered daisy flowers, evenly spaced throughout the gown. Finished with a discreet side zipper closure, a truly distinctive and rare hand embroidered parachute wedding dress of the 1940s.
