1900s Edwardian Pink Watteau-Kimono Beaded, Silk-Brocade Tea Gown
This beautiful 1905 Edwardian tea gown is crafted from a lightweight pale pink silk cotton brocade and embroidered silk tulle. The high collar, Watteau-kimono inspired bodice and the 3/4 fitted sleeves are adorned in an extensive array of seed and bugle bead work. The gown features pink tambour silk embroidery throughout the asymmetrical silhouette. The waist boasts a unique peplum that wraps around the back, while mini silk rosettes adorn the bodice, peplum overlay and is finished with a three layered eye hook closure. Making this is a truly unique and stunning tea gown from the early 1900s.
